Finished!

Wow, after several hours of hard coding, a GUI makeover, and a site re-design I'm pooped. However, I do this with great pride that most of you will enjoy this game as much as I do.

A sad truth, but the second semester of "school-ing" is beginning. Which means I probably won't be able to get much programming done. I hop jump generation will do well. I'm looking forward to my other titles I hope to finish this year - sketch lite and shogun showdown.

cheers,

A few days later...

Well Jump:: final, we hope is almost on its ways! I was finally able to put the high scores as well as a slight GUI make-over. The only thing I have left is the optimization part. The game runs. However, for the clix users, like myself, the FPS is terrible. I'm sure for u10 users it'll run fine, but that's not fair - right?

In conclusion, I'll have to take out the redundant, per say the speed meeter, level meeter, and besides, isn't it obvious now? Speed increases per 1000 and level does as well.

I wish the clix and u10 had just a wee bit more CPU power... I hope the new lineups of iRiver products will be able to tolerate more variables and codes.

Day 2

Although my pursuit for saving persistent data seems to be closer than ever, I seem to be loosing my mind! I don't understand why there are no iriver clix or u10 CDK's! Sure there are the Korean and Japanese pseudo-English translations, but they only confuse me more... Argh!

I've found a forum titled Kgadget, and I found a topic that actually had a person who found out how to save data! However, the post was about 5 months old... I wonder if I'll get a response. Other than that I'm left only the option to create a GUI for the u10 version for the time being...

Sorry for the delay/rant!

Day 1

How frustrating! I had a nice post, and after clicking "publish" my content disappeared! Oh well, it should teach me a lesson to write with caution in the future... Anyhow, this will be my "blog" for 2soulDesign.

Here I'll explain what's basically being worked on, and what's being processed. I'll also add a few pictures, once I get a Cannon SD630! Can't wait! Well, I've been asked to make a high score for the game jump- which I always wanted too. However, if that's to happen I would need to re-write the game jump into a flash 1.1 format.

It took a grueling amount of time to digest such primitive coding structures, but after a good amount of time, I made it. An alpha version is available on the download portal link.

I hope you u10 users will see this useful! For the clix users, pray that I find a good reference on how to use a setPersistentData(); which will allow me to make a high score for jump!
